Its roster consisted of locally trained wrestlers given with the monikers Joe Pogi, King Cobra, Macho Franco, Caloy Bakal and Max Buwaya. There also tag teams such as The Smoky Mountain Bros., The Bakal Boys and Dr. Q’s henchmen The Brusko Bros. - Kamikaze Kid and Roboto. Women wrestlers like Aerobica and Pinay Wonder are also featured. There were also midgets, The Mikrobyos and The Tureritos. Other wrestlers include Juan Duwag, Waway The Wild Man, Turko Turero, Pinoy Ranger, Sultan Bato, Iggy Igorot, Lawin and Zorro. The show was discontinued and folded on the early part of 1990.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=PWR: Reviving pro wrestling in the Philippines )〕 In 2012, the idea of creating PWR began as a Facebook group for the purpose of establishing a wrestling company came about despite pro wrestling no being as popular in the country since the end of the WWE Attitude Era in the late 90s and early 2000s. Hardcore wrestling fans from different parts of the Philippines linked and added to the cluster to discuss fantasy bookings and character conceptualization. One of the major rises that came with the promotion's overseas connections is having veteran American pro wrestler Joe E. Legend on board to assist them with their preparations. In late 2013 to early 2014, the group was contacted by a Japanese promoter as his team was doing a live show for WNC-Reina in the country where two of his main attractions are former WWE and ECW superstar Tajiri and half-Filipina triple crown champ Shuri Kondo. The Japanese promoter's representative in Manila found their Facebook wrestling fan page and asked the group to assist them in setting up and promoting the show in the country. These events further drove the group's urge in pursuing the idea on setting up their plan to establish the first ever wrestling promotion in the country with that said experience appointed to them.〔〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=30 in 30 Reborn: Philippine Wrestling Revolution’s Channel - The Johnson Transcript )〕 The pioneering batch of aspiring wrestlers were officially trained by an American pro wrestler living in Manila, who goes by the name of Josh Bauserman, whom they met during the early stages of planning. The founders credit Bauserman as someone who taught them everything there is to know about pro wrestling, from in-ring maneuvers to the backstage ongoings.
